Montfort Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Perungudi, founded in June 2004, is a Montfortian Institution run by the Brothers of St.Gabriel.
Inspired by the vision and mission of the Founder of their society, St.Louis Marie Grignion deMontfort, the Brothers are committed to their educational apostolate, and have been doing a yeoman service in the field of education in India, since1903.
Aholistic approach to education with an all round development of each individual is the quintessence of Montfortian Education.
Montfort is now synonymous with holistic and value based education the worldover. It is committed to develop socially responsible, ethical, independent thinkers through a challenging and balanced co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Coaching Club
Exclusive coaching is given in sports and cultural activities by trained professionals after school hours. Students who are interested can avail of this facility at an extra cost between 3.30p.m.- 4.30p.m.
School Management Software
The School has automated some of the services through the School ManagementSoftware.Therefore communications to parents will be made through SMS.
CC TV Monitoring
CC TV Cameras have been installed at both the entrances, all the corridors, the play area and all the other places frequented by the students for constant monitoring of the students in order to have a better scrutiny and check.
Sports and Games
Special coaching is given to students in Sports and Games and are encouraged to participate in Zonal, District and State meets conducted bythe Educational Department. Students are expected to enroll in atleast any one Sports/Games/Club activity. The performance of the students in extra-curricular activities will also be considered for the Proficiency Prizes during school day celebration.
